thick tails

can someone please tell me if its 4- 6 weeks for thick tails to lay or 2 - 4 weeks. I have a female thats over 4 weeks and has been digging like crazy for 3 days now and no eggs layed

If she is digging like crazy it probably means she is ready to drop the two eggs.
