A woman caused panic in a German post office when a 1.5-metre albino python she was trying to send broke free of its packaging. The woman, 28, had sold the snake over the internet and was mailing it to its new owner in a package labelled "glass".

I have been reading the odd spot in the Melbourne Age for 30+ years ;-)

As for being a pensioner I lined up to get a mop chop this arvo and they said they had never heard of APS and there was no way I looked like a pensioner even if I did have grey hair :-(
