Hey Sherm
Have you got any sisters between the age of 16 and 80?

RE: Re: RE: Top Gun Sherm!!!!

Hahaha  I think he wants in on some of that moolah!!

RE: Re: RE: Top Gun Sherm!!!!

yeah i should write up a fool-proof business plan on how a few GTP's would be a great investment!!!! I'll fudge the figures and plan to include that GTP's wont breed unless they can smell male and female woma's in the same room!!

RE: Re: RE: Top Gun Sherm!!!!

Gotta love the falcondore brigade bragging how fast their family cars can go. I have an uncle who owns a Porsche and there is simply no comparison.
I would love to take a ride in a jetfighter. What an experience! Ah well....one day..

Yep, one is a sports car and the other is a family sedan

Porsche have always had amazing technology in their cars. Their road holding ability is perhaps one of their most amazing facets - it's just mind bloggling! Forget things like WRX when it comes to intellegent suspension set-ups. Porsche have had it for nearly decades.

Mind you, upon saying that I do have a mates Mustang that loves 911's for breaky out at the Willowbank circuit lol Heavily and ridiculously modified of course   It does make the guys who've spent 200k+ on their Porsches a little flustered and hot under the collar that a 67 fastback is blowing their supped-up VW's away   hehehe Not that I'm taking away anything from Porsche :p

I was out at eastern creek for a track day a few months ago and there were several 911 GT2s and GT3s. They were horrendously quick - and I reckon they'd gobble your mates mustang moose  :) And man did they sound good.

pffft lol Porsche don't make anything with 745kw :D Read the word "modified heavily" a bit slower :D hehehe

hehehehe Look just so you don't think I'm full of it, I'll try and post a mpeg of it, on a track, in a race :D Quality won't be that fantastic as I'll have to record it via my digi cam off the tele   I think the crazy freak still drives it to work everyday lol Stretched 351 windor, turbo-charged and fuel injected = very entertaining  (Like I said it's not a production car like the Porsches are, so it's really no comparison, I'm just sticking up for my beloved Fords )

I just did a search for Martys car on the web and there is a little bit about the car. It says 900+ horsepower but he's told me in a later dyno run awhile ago the thing clicked over 1000hp.

Haha never thought you were full of it moose.

That looks pretty fierce. How much has he spent on it do you think?

Question, why, after spending all that oney would you stick that horrible green thing on the windscreen? Its the wrong colour, its tacky.
Get him to fix it Moosey

Hehehe well you never know, I have stretched the truth once regarding the size of a friends Darwin  I try not to go there with cars though, too many untruths told at times lol

As for how much he has spent, I honestly don't know. I know him more through a good friend of mine and I get sent videos of the progress he makes with it from time to time. When he was getting approx 600hp out of it, it was beginning to pop the windscreen out due to flexing the chassis. He was then quoted as saying I might have to reduce the power to save the chassis from further damage, either that or get a truck builder to strengthen it and go for more grunt - the later was the result. Interesting if it could handlle a N02 hit as well

Hehehe it's just a sticker, I hadn't seen that on there before lol He lives in Brissy, I don't get to see him or the car much, let alone talk anymore now that I live in Vic. Next time I'm up there I'll tear it off for you okay

Anyway, I'm off this topic. Cars make me sad  I'll post an Mpeg on it as soon as I can

are porsche are crap boxs man get your self a Ford BA XR8 pursuit ute mate then you be driving a real car

In the short space of sydney to Cessnock, we had everything from *tongue in cheek* done up hyundai excells to R34 skylines trying their best, and there were a few fords and holdens in the mix too, but they just couldnt cut it after about 170kph. The porsche was the winner in every try so im pretty sure if you wanted to put your money where you mouth is, i would come out the richer! ;)

Dude, Getting to go in that jet must have been awsome, but please 200kmh in a porsche must have been a let down, i do that on my way to work every morning.
Step up to the plate if you want brag, and get a suzuki GSX-R and do 305kmh on the same road.
And the best thing is i spent under $20,000 for my PORSCHE EATER.

RE: Re: RE: Top Gun Sherm!!!!

Hehehehehehe nice work Da Donkey. But i still prefer Yamaha's.

Simone

Donkey I reckon I've probably seen you from time to time on the old pacific highway (down to mooney mooney). Awesome piece of driving road. I've been demolished by some bikes along there.

:)

RE: Re: RE: Top Gun Sherm!!!!

Its funny how people always compare bikes to cars. Get over it dudes, there is no comparison, bikes will always have the upper hand. Its called "power to weight ratio". Look it up!

Wrong! :p  Hehehehehe It's called the Ariel Atom. Out handles and out paces most large bikes  It's considered a streetcar and can also be registered as a street car. There is a massive 15 meg video on it's performance somewhere.....opps....I spoke again lol

Got to love the Brits :D

Yep, saw it segment on it by some British car show..very cool car indeed. Don't know how good it would be over street bumps though?..
