Does anyone know whether i can use Top of Descent in gecko enclosures? I read somewhere that insecticides can`t be used in gecko enclosures or you will end up with a whole heap of dead gecko`s. The gecko`s don`t have mites, there is a whole heap of very small insects in the substrate and enclosure decorations, I think they might have come in the substrate or from the crickets somehow but they are not on the gecko`s.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated!!:)

Replace the substrate, much cheaper then replacing geckos. And let the decorations soak in some hot water or bleach.

The substrat is fairly new, I keep getting them only a couple of weeks after changing the substrate, it`s working out pretty expensive to change the subtrate each time. But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Bump Has any one heard whether Top of Descent is fatal to gecko`s?

I would not use any sort of spray with Geckos.. not worth the risk.

Try getting a spare tub for now, and just throwing out the current substrate and place the tub / logs / whatever in the freezer for two weeks, at least that will get rid of any from there.

DO NOT USE WITH GECKOS!!!!!!!!!!!!! it specifically says on the can not to use with frogs geckos insects or other chemically sensitive pets DO NOT USE WITH GECKOS
