Turtle Calcium Blocks

Just wondering where people get theirs from and how much they pay
Are there alternatives to using the blocks that would release calcium into the water

I use cuttle bone. The large turtles chew on it (Especially the females) and it also dissolves on its own into the water. If you got to a beach u can get it free Just soak it in a tub of fresh water for a night first to remove the salt

Thanks - I should have known that
I did used to do it when they were smaller

They used to get on the bigger peices and float around on it like a surfboard

yeh ive used it too, god stuff and best of all it's free

did not know that my turtles would eat it though

Yeah they will nibble on it

That is cool, I never knew they would eat it either, looks like I will be saving on calcium blocks now LOL
