Turtle Fungus

i have an 8cm eastern long neck turtle that is housed outside with 4 other turtles. she has two pink and grey spots on her neck/head and has been having trouble walking. this started on sunday. i started today applying betatine to the area twice a day. and she has been dry docked since sunday (expect to eat and drink). whilst her walking is improving ever so slightly, i have read that turtles with fungus can die within 5 days.
i have been having difficulty finding an available reptile vet in melbourne, so might have to go to healsville (just over an hour away) to get her looked at.
just wondering what people think i should do, because she is walking a little better but the sudden death thing scares me.

i would go to a normaly vet if a reptile pet isn't available. if its a life threataning fungus a normal vet should know how to treat it.
