types of fish with goldfish ?

Well ive setup a 4 foot fish tank and there are a few goldfish and mosquito fish in there already and planning to get some danios ( mainly zebras ) and sucking catfishes.... is there any other fish,crustacean i can keep with them ?

You can also get black widows, white clouds and barbs such as rosy barbs. I have rosy barbs in with a goldfish and they are all happy. If the tank was a tropical goldfish can be kept in that too, but goldfish can become more aggressive and territorial in warmer water so there would need to be plenty of room for the other fish to have their own space. Don’t put long finned fish such as a Siamese fighting fish as goldfish and the others can try to bite them.
Remember also that the more fish you have in the tank the more oxygen you will need to supply.

you could also keep freshwater mussels, if you can locate some

Unless they are those stupid distorted bubbly things they should be fine with most fish and aquatic invertbrates that arnt big enough to eat them or overly aggressive or fragile species. There would be hundreds of critters that can live with goldfish so its too much effort to try and list them.

Mozzy fish are actually an illegal pest and far more likely to kill other fish than the goldfish.

yeah. eel's catfish any sort of native small fish realy. gold fish arnt going to eat them. but the mosquito fish will eat the fins of all ur other fish and they will probaly die

i have oscars and aftrican chiclids with goldfish, i find they live with anything......apart from other goldfish and the gold fish would kill eachother but be fine with the other fish....

plus the stupid fish eat plants so say bye to any u have! i hate them goldfish!
