Yeah Diaz made 275k in the last fight...So hopefully he stops complaining about being underplayed and under-appreciated. It's getting old and annoying.

Diaz has really good body shots for mma...You rarely ever see guys use body shots in mma( probably because you can break your hand so easily with those 4 oz gloves) but he does it really nicely..Still Gsp will beat him but it should be interesting because it is a 5 round fight and with Diaz's cardio and boxing...he may be able to catch Gsp in the later rounds after getting wrestled to death in the early rounds...But I think Gsp will win


And if he does lose...some other wrestler like Fitch or Koscheck will beat Diaz..

I like Condit alot...He is exciting to watch and seems like a good guy.

HonestPirate so I'm guessing you knew what I was talking about when I mentioned Parr's last fight. I don't follow Muay Thai/Kickboxing that closely but, I do know that that midget has always been over-hyped and I'm glad Parr smashed him...He also has a ton of fanboys that are extremely fanatical about him so I'm glad he got owned..

Apparently he accused Parr of cheating after the fight...said he had metal in the wrap or something. Lol or maybe it was the 100+ punches he landed to his head that caused him to go down.

Yeah I watched the Parr fight- was one of the better beatings Ive seen him dish out of late...I was starting to think he was in decline after watching him fight Carnage a couple of times...but he is on his game STILL.

Just watched 138 this morning... some interesting results there (I won't say anything yet in case anyone hasn''t seen it).

Looking forward to JDS and Velasquez.

and PUMPED for Shogun/Hendo...that has fight of the year written all over it..

For UFC 137, it was really hard for BJ Penn to keep up with Diaz in the fight and he was just delaying the inevitable, though it was still such brilliant display as a character never been knocked out though badly hurt.

It was a great night for UFC 138 some hours ago and it was a night of submissions, really. Chokes were coming in more ways than one and actually made fights move faster.

Agreed, Shogun vs Hendo has he fight of the year potential, but i think Hendo will take it.


Looking forward to Jnr vs Velasquez, hard to pick that one, but cant wait for the winner of that, to take on Overeem after he runs through Lesnar.

I havent seen too much of Overeem; other than the SF heavyweight series and the odd highlight...really interested to see if it's all hype a la Fedor/Carwin/Silvia or if he's the real deal that can stick around a while....

Yeah Hendo has the one punch power to take Shogun; but Shoun looked good in his last fight too in Brazil...so who knows..?

Overeem has been around for awhile, K-1 champ, SF champ and Dream champ.

He has been KO'd by Shogun, Liddell and Nogueira in his early days when he was a light heavy, but since he has packed on alot of size, he looks and fights like a different person.

Yeah I know he has been around for ages and comes with heaps of hype; but I havent seen too much of him or followed his progression. Let's see if he lives up to it. Lesnar may be a hype-train; but he isn't exactly a pussy either.

Lesnar is defiantly no pussy, and id love to see him win, but he lacks in the stand up game which we all know is Overeems strength

Why would you want Overeem to lose? Lesnar is a tool and I enjoyed it immensely when cain smashed him...He by all accounts is not a nice person

Even through I hate him...I don't think anyone who fights in a cage for a living or is a ncaa wrestling champ is a pussy...But lesnar does not take punches to the face well compared to many fighters. He panics and then everything goes out the window. So it should be a interesting fight because his wrestling still makes him very dangerous.


Dos Santos and Velazquez is gonna be sick...Dos Santos is probably my favorite mma fighter right now...Seems like a really nice guy and he is very exciting.. The fight will be 50/50

Like Lesnar or not, i think he is good for the sport, people watch his fights to either see him get smashed or there big fans of him, point is every wants to see him fight one way or the other.

Its not that i don't like Overeem, i just think that Overeem is going to beat Lesner and if Lesnar looses again i can see him sticking around much longer, especially with his heath issues, but i think it will be a interesting fight.

Jr vs Velazquez is going to be crazy, cant wait and as you said very close fight.

Yeah if Lesnar loses- I think he'll be back in the WWE- big money and not as taxing as taking REAL hits; although those fellas are definitely legit athletes too...
