my mate gave me a spotted python cause he is movin overseas, but he didnt handle it very often, its now a sub adult and looks very nervous when handled, does any1 think that if i handle it alot, that it will ever tame down, and be carm:??

I just bought a jungle python who was rarely handled and very agro Nd bitty, but ive been loving and handling him everyday for about 2 weeks and now He's a pussy cat. I've only been bitten twice and can now pick him up with my hands and trust him to go on my shoulders.
Give your snake lots of attention but be very respectful and cautious. He'll come around :)

thanks mate, thats good news, and yes i will have to get him out alot more often than the last previous owner, thanks for ur info, cheers Deejay

If he tries to strike when you are getting him out of the enclosure try hooking him out onto your hand, they dont seem to see it as being attacked that way.

REPTILES DONT like being handled..but they tolererate it..Some will..some wont..

just dont take no for an answer, and act confident.....Elvira had my two sons and my husband completely bluffed one night they just couldnt get her out of her click clack...and she was only a few moonths old...I came home and just reached in and picked her up. Just move with confidence and just do it regardless.....they soon learn you are not going to hurt them and coming out is fun and he will love it

I try to combine some handling time and some exploring time where they get to climb over the dining room chairs etc....they love it.....just never leave your snake unattended when letting them have a climb......just in case.......

Agree with Fantazmic here. DO NOT leave the snake unattended. I made this mistake last week, luckily he went into some towels not too far away :)
