I noticed a smallish lump in my female coastal's underbelly about 1 month ago. She has always been very healthy so I originally thought it could mean she was gravid, however a week later when it looked the same I realised she wasn't and it must be some other problem.
I hoped it would get better, as she was still eating fine, but it has only grown and the last time I fed her she regurgitated the meal a couple days later. She is still active and appears healthy, but I know I need to find out what is wrong and treat it asap.
I'm thinking it may be either a parasite or a tumour? but don't really have a clue, so if anyone has any ideas of what it could be or other advice it would be very appreciated!
Thanks

Very likely to be a tumour unfortunately - not uncommon in Carpets.

A vet should be able to confirm for you.

I'd take her straight to the vet ASAP aswell, even if you find out what it is on here chances are you'll have to take her to get it treated anyways and the sooner the better.

Hope it all turns out good for you xx

Yeah ok thanks for the advice, will take her today. She pooped 2 weeks ago, then 2 weeks before that as well...

couldn't get an appointment until tomorrow.. so I'm nervous about what I'm going to find out. If it is a tumour does anyone know if there is likely to be any good treatment options?
Thanks very much

I'd be guessing tumour too,...and if its grown that much in a month probably an aggresive one

Tumours can be removed, and a biopsy will show if they got it all. If they get it all ur snake should have a good chance.

I had a tumour removed from a beardy last year, unfortunately the biopsy showed tehy didnt get it all)

Perfect place for cryptosporosis but its pretty rare will be interesting to hear the diagnosis
