So this is going to be hard to explain but bare with me.
I have a wheatbelt stimson That started to go blue about a week and a half ago now, and two days ago i gave him a soak because i wast going to be home for the following two days. but when i got home yesterday i noticed he still hadnt shed so i went to give him another soak, only this time upon getting him out i realised that He had uric'd under the old skin which he had not yet shed (basically holding it like skin bag full of uric). after removing the shed i noticed all the scales on his belly from the tip of the tale to half way up his body are all red and very soft and it doesnt look great.. does anyone have any advice on what i could do to help treat it? ive never heard of something like this happening before. the uric has basically dissolved his scales. so far i've given him a wam bath in water then a bedadine bath. and ive taken him out of his enclosure and placed him in a tub with a hide box, a heat bad, paper substrate and no water. I also won't be able to get him into the vets for about a week.. can anyone please help?

sounds like scale rot to me...could be wrong though but that is what causes it (damp conditions) Try treating with a 1:4 solution of Bedatine and water applied twice a day by dipping a paper towel in this solution. Leave it on for half an hour. Do not use oils or ointments. I would also suggest taking her to a vet asap for a diagnosis and some anti-biotics.

She could also have bistered. A pic would help!!!!!

If her substrate isn't newspaper, change it to it. Keep the coditions dry in her enclosure. This can also help you tell if she is losing scales or not.

I may not be correct on this so I'd suggest waiting for a few more opinions! Hope this helped :):)

Sounds like you are doing everything right! (also read your other thread :D) Hope that it goes away alright. Normally blisters will disapear in the next few sheds or sooner. Gd luck!!!
