I went and saw Van Hellsing last night. I thought it would be OK but I was wrong. It was great! If you like vampire/werewolf/frankenstein/Jekyll & Hyde kind of movies, this movie has the lot. The werewolfs look much better than the ones in Underworld, these ones actually look like wolves.
Throw in a bit of comic relief, killer effects and Kate Beckingsley in a corset 8) .I give it 9/10 on the Greebo scale.

Greebo, I saw it at the advance screening last Wednesday. I was hoping for a real scary picture and was a bit disappointed that it wasn't. But it is a real good action picture, very similar to the League of Extrodionary Gentleman. I would give it about 7 out of 10. Very enjoyable.

Yeah, I saw it last night. Great action and special effects, but I thought the plot was a bit disappointing.

I also agree about the scary part - it's hard to find a GOOD scary movie these days!

As far as scary movies go, I liked The Ring when it came out about a year ago I think it was. Also Secret Window was quite good with an interesting twist.

Sure, they weren't as scary as some of the classics but I'd say they have been the best of the modern bunch (at least the few that I've seen).

The ring i wasnt that impressed with at all,a good mate of mine drummed it up as being very scary but i was let down, well up until my mate fell asleep & then i scared the absolute crapper out of him.Ill get back to you with good scary movie cant think at the minute, one movie i liked as a slight scary/thinking movie is a movie called "in the mouth of madness",its a few years old now from memory i think it starred sam neil.

I am so keen to go see it.
It will probably be finished at the cinema b4 i can go and watch it,there's no way i could sit through a movie with this huge cut on my lower back.Have heard some good reveiws on it though.
Guess i will have to wait for the DVD.

I got to see KILL BILL volume 2 b4 i went to hospital and i thought it was 1 of the best movie's i have seen in ages.I am definatley buying both DVD's.If you haven't seen it it is a must watch.
