Went to the vet today at kessels road. Great people, lots of info. So went in there sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes, then Mel called us in. Then after 15 minutes of consultation got told, that it's 25 grams (such a tiny snake for the supposed age of 7 months), it could eat bigger than pinkies and that the tail has to be amputated. With a local anesthetic it was done in a matter of minutes. She said it's fine now. Such a brave little girl didn't squirm or anything she said. Now she's back in her enclosure.Looking forward to feeding her on thursday. =) oh and when i was there, saw a carpet python that had to have 4-5cms of its tail cut off. ouch.
but all in all my baby is fine! =)
