Hi,at the moment the water supply at my place has a strong smell of chlorine, taste it too, could my reptiles get sick at all from this,im currently boiling the water, lettin it cool then put in the snakes.any info please.

If it is chlorine like a swimming pool..this is bad news. Boiling is an idea,,,not sure if it makes a diffrence to chlorine. Try aging the water like you would with sensitive fish. Just put the amount of water you want in a bucket and leave it exposed for a few days. Some will evaporate, but so will the chlroine..taste it then..

Or buy lots of bottled water. Expensive, but good quality!!

Aging the water for 24 hours will get rid of chlorine. Chlorine is a gas which quickly leaves small quantities of water.

just go to the local shops and buy some natural spring water for the time being.

you can buy spring water in the super market in 10ltr containers for around $5 or $6, cheap solution !

Thanx every1,most off the time its ok,curiuos when it isnt good.
