waterproofing melamine?

You can't "waterproof" it.

It is already water resistant though

Melamine isn't exactly the best looking

AHH maybe because someone wanted to keep reptiles in the enclosure with more water or moisture than for most species and didn't want the Melamine to swell up and become damaged after spending all that money???? Waterproofing protects it further:shock:

Melamine look's fantastic, that is why Ten's of Millions of Kitchens, Cabinet's,Pantry's and Laundry cupboards are manufactured and installed in properties across the world, Or maybe THEY all have it WRONG and YOUR RIGHT, it isn't exactly the best looking:?
 
Use wet area silicon as aglue to coat the edge of the melomine all through the joint
