Hey All,

Time to ask the experts.

I have recently started to pair up some of my younger snakes to look at future pairs. I had a beautiful little B&W Jungle. She was from Black and white atherton and standard.

She is now approx 2.5 years old and has held her colour well, darkened sometimes when coming up to a shed but nothing significant.

She is now going a dirty colour. Looking very standard :S She is not due to shed. Still quite light around the sides but getting a fair brown tinge through her top.

Any one else has this happen?

Cheers

Alot of jungle pythons muddy up as the reach 2 - 5 years of age , it's very normal even tho alot of breeders wont say so.
Not all do I know of some over 10 years that are still quite bright.

Yes was quite a shame as she is quite nice other wise, great temp etc. All her siblings have remained the good colours. But it all good, i just have not bred jungles before this and was a bit caught out. She was going to be a mate for my lil B&G but he has such strong colours i am not sure now
