I know this is a silly question but what do i feed beardie hatchies? ive been told you feed them twice a day but what sort of insects and what size, what vegies and how do i do them like grated etc.. i just want happy healthy bubs (arriving today!)

small chrickets/woodies tiny earth worm (if you can get them) boc choy carrot apple brocoli coliflour apple banana peas beans corn cernels (no citrus tomato iceberg lettuce or potato) aslong as the food is smaller than the gap between their eyes its a food size for them. meal worms are a no until they are bigger but even then only as a treat.

Whats wrong with tomato? I've always fed tomato with no ill effects to both dragons and skinks

its to acidic or something like that i though it was ok aswell until i gave it to one of my hatchies ages ago n he wen funny for a few days n when i asked what happenned i got flamed . so yea i just dont use it... oh and strawberries and grapes they love them!!

bugs are usually the easiest to get them started. so baby roaches are a plus, crickets are also easy, mini mealies are great if you can get a hold of them, they need to be tiny though. i breed them so have heaps. i start them on bok choy and other grens like that and rep cal juvi beardie pellets, which they will readily eat if waved in front of them

I think most people dont bother with greens when they are hatchies... they are rarely interested. I think most people just feed them tiny crickets dusted. Mine didn't eat their greens for some time. I did still offer them to them though.

I have offered mine tomato before but they were never interested. They loved celery greens but it gives them runny poo.
