A friend back home has recently had a wheeleri hatch out of the egg and the little guy is walking around on his wrists, his hands are curving back underneath himself, similar to you crawling onyour the backs of your hands.
My thoughts are that it's a tendon issue, whereby they are tightened at the back of the wrist and not allowing him to straighten out his feet. It could also be a joint problem but I'm not so convinced.
Would a splint made out of a small paper clip and some little butterfly sticky bandage things be sufficient to stretch the tendon or will it need to be done gradually?
Will it be too late if to rectify the issue if he's possibly already a month or 2?
Looking for thoughts and suggestions or similar experiences, though if it comes to his welfare being compromised and he goes downhill I will be euthanasing him for the guy.
