Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any ideas on what might have caused it or how to treat it would be appreciated. Apparently the area feels a little dry to touch. It isn't anywhere else but the top of the head.

Picture to come.....

a few months ago someone on here described a very similar thing , turned out to be its urate that it had rubbed its head through whilst it was still a little wet then it dried on its head

not saying this is what happened but it might of

Do you use heat globes in your enclosure, and do they have mesh covers on them?
To me it sounds like a burn, but I could be wrong. Pictures would definitely help.

My Olive also has a white spot on her head, and I believe it was caused by her nudging her (then unprotected) heat globes.
I saw her nudge them at least twice, she probably sensed the heat signature and thought it was food..
This was a couple of months ago, and she still has a feint white spot on her snout, although it is slowly disappearing with each shed.

I have a picture of her white spot as well, but it also has 'popeye' the rabbit in it, and the mods didn't like it last time I posted it ;)

Oh ok. Yeah that's completely different to what my Olive has.
Other than that, if it's not a stuck shed or white urates then I really have no idea.
Did she shed recently?
I would give her a warm bath, if you haven't already, and see if that makes any difference.

kinda does look like it could be dried urate is that some on the top of her hide or whatever she's sitting on ( not trying to be rude :) ) just try wiping it off with some damp paper towel or something it does look like the pics from the other thread i was talking about

Ok, I will put that suggestion forward. The snake belongs to a friend (one of the hatchies that I bred last year).
