I disagree with people saying they always end up in fights ect.... I have done breeding loans in the past and never had a fight.... It depends on the trust and respect levels of the people involved.
50/50 is the going rate of loaning reptiles.... really, the person who has them usually doesn't have to do much other than house them, the snakes do the breeding, and incubating them isn't an overly hard friggin job, I incubate eggs for people for free, always good if they offer you a few or drop around a slab of beer or something, but I cetainly don't expect anything out of it... always nice to help people out, that's reward enough.

If the person incubating has only the one clutch in the cooker I would expect them to want a little bit more than what they would get if they had a heap of eggs on the go. I would also vary the number I would expect depending on who the other person was. If it was a close mate it would probably be 50/50. If it was a friend of a friend's dog's uncles owner; I would expect more if I was incubating.

I think the important thing is to make sure that both parties are clear on what they can expect before breeding the animals. If you can't come to an agreement then its not going to be worth the hassle.
