our stimmy SID seems to have a jaw- tounge problem since his last shed --after eating a good sized large mouse - he puts his head sideways ,opens his jaw and his tounge sort of flops out . this has gone on for a week now .? atrip to the vet or wait ?. help

Is it possible his mouth is hooked on his tooth or something? We had a similar thing going on with a coastal for a few days after a feed & I thought he was just having a jaw alignment problem but when I checked him out I found his bottom lip was hooked on a tooth & he couldn't close his mouth properly.
It might be worth getting a mate to help hold him & have a look for any obvious problems if you havn't already. If you can't see anything then i'd definately get him to a vet.
