WOW a Crocidile heart can beat after death

Blue, for one of our (many) pracs we injected pink resin into the beating heart until it circulated the arteries and veins, almost illuminating the networks of capillaries throughout the body, very interesting to see.

We were lucky enough to have Prof. Craig Franklin lecture us on the crocodilian heart (as well as many other aspects of crocodilian physiology), absolutely awesome.

So it looks like its more common than not for hearts to keep beating after death - good fact to know
