Just wondering if peoples dogs or any other pets interact with their snakes. When I have my 8 month old jungle out our 17 month old sheltie is very interested. He is well trained and I am confident that he will never disobey my command to leave it alone lol.
The jungle is also eager and...
While checking out the vetafarm site I also found this... LIZARD FOOD [no links]
Does anyone use this to feed their lizards?
I have previously been advised by my vet not to use 'dry pellet' foods so Im unsure if I should try it. Would love to hear what you all think about it.
Cheers
My shingle just got a little sample of prime, finely sliced, porterhouse steak. We were cutting it up and she was around so she got a few little chunks, she loved it! Would this be an alright TREAT (ie. not even a weekly thing)?
I can't see why not, it's human quality and has been frozen and...

These two days past I've had only urates come out of my shingleback... hmm. I soaked her in a bath today and massaged her but only got a big strain and long, white strand of... well, I don't know.
She was picky to eat yesterday and didn't end up having much. Should I bother giving her baby-food...
My shingleback's settled in lovely since I've got her and in my limited experience she's been the best I've had so far. She eats lovely, has only once displayed one the first day I had her, shedding beautifully and seems to 'enjoy' being handled.
But... lately I've been handling her a bit more...

Well... just yesterday my blotched blue-tongue, Arby, passed away. Some of you may remember I posted a thread in the help section asking if the small scale damage was any cause for concern.

Hi all,
my bluetongue and beardie went into brumation over a month ago. My shingleback, though not eating (but drinking occasionally), is still walking around a bit (though she's slower than she was in spring/summer). This is my first winter with her. The only difference I can think of between...

One of the guys in a german forum asked me if it is actually possible to export a australian snake and I couldn't answer this question. For me it would be of particular interest if I can take my own pet snake (given that I own it for a while) with me when I leave the country permanently.
