These pics were taken by one of the NRW crew at Cloudbreakthis week. It took a total of 5 hours for the snake to finish it off a Perente (Bungarra). As you can see they put some signage up so it couldn't get run over.

Building an outdoor monitor enclosure for a large species. Wondering if anyone could post pics and also what the best way to build them is, people have told me i can build a wooden frame or a steel frame. Im thinking a wooden frame wtih wire mesh walls, any ideas on best way to attach the mesh...

Just wanting to let everyone know that there is a great new reptile vet practicing at Northgate Vet Surgery on Brisbane's Northside. She worked for years at the Johannesburg zoo in South Africa and is happy to see all reptiles (except venemous species!). She seems to really know her stuff! :D
hi everyone i was free handling a few elapids in a controlled enviroment by that i mean with a few well respected handlers when i was bitten 3 times by a tiger snake.The symptoms have been insane with slight paralysys around bite site pain loss of taste headaches trouble focusing nausia weakness...

I nearly got into a bit of a situation today, which gave me a wake up call.
I've started going for a run in the afternoon, and mum being a mum suggested I take our young cattle dog with me, for her peace of mind and to burn off her energy. I scoffed at this idea thinking nothing would happen...
