Hi all just wondering what you feed your roaches. I feed mine Dry: dog food and chicken pellets. For Water i use: Carrots. previous few days i have been out of carrots so i tried apple and orange today the destroyed instantly. Just wondering if it is bad for them or better for them then carrot.

I feed my colony just carrot. I started off with only about 50 adults, and in a year, i have over 1000 in my colony.

We use Orange & carrot for the cricks at work
Seems to keep them alive-but we dont breed them so cant really tell hoe well it works for them

I use carrot or pumpkin most of the time but they get scrap ends of zucchini and broccoli storks when I am cooking some and some times apple cores. Once when I was completely out of fresh veggies I gave them frozen peas. They eat almost any veggies. Never tryed oranges - I feed them stuff that is cheap and easy and keeps long enough for them to eat it.
I had to split my colony into two tubs as there are too many to deal with in one tub - I will have to get more reptiles to eat them all!

Actually, I feed them carrot peelings, about once a week. They thrive from neglect.

mine 2 colonies just ate 2 apples each in like 45 mins. they must have been hungry

I tried Oranges once, they went mouldy?
Although the container had abnormal high humidity so i cleaned it all out and am sticking to carrot for now

We give them carrot, we also breed rats and mice and give the roaches and crix the powdered rat food.
