Just received an "abusive" call regarding some free jungle hatchies I gave away. They were 2 mths old and had fed, they were just fussy. I personally cannot sell fussy eaters, hence, giving them away. In her round about words, I'm offloading the snakes so they can be given to someone who wants free stuff, and they won't be taken care of, and they'll die. And I should be disgusted with myself! Well, after picking myself up off the floor, I spoke to the missus, and she said obviously this psycho is cut up 'cause "she didn't get free snakes". Now, just to clarify, these snakes were feeding, just difficult, as in, not as regular as the rest. After meeting these fella's, I was happy to let 'em go. A message to the lady who called, you know who you are, if YOU didn't want free stuff, why did you call and get so upset!!:shock: Sorry, after all that, just want to know what people's view's are on giving rep's away. Cheers. PS. Miss ( no names thanks) , sorry if I upset ya. you have my number!;)

If they were informed the reptiles were problem feeders, then they can jam their whining where it would likely slide on in unaided. You want a quality, problem-free reptile, then pay for it!

i wouldnt worry about it too much , it sounds like the so called lady has a screw or 2 loose [ btw i hope u read this" lady "]
the green eyed monster strikes again .

for her next trick she will hold her breath and bang her head on the floor lol

some people should NOT get pets, even if they're FREE!!!!!!

did i read this right.... she wasnt even the person who got the snakes off you???

she was purely ringing to chew u out over giving them away?

don't let her jealousy put you off, as you said you met them and felt fine with them taking them so she can jam it I say lol

I can hear my Dad's saying again "no good deed goes unpunished" I feel sad that you were abused for doing a generous deed. I have to wonder if the poor woman has a bat loose in the ole` belfry? Lady if your reading this..... get help, there are many organizations that can help your problem. However if it is just boredom then I recommend needlepoint or making doily's and then donating them to charity :)

She wanted them, but when I told her they were gone, she cut absolutely sick!! Not being sexist, but women should'nt say the words she said:D, unless it's called for!!!

i find the mentality that people that dont pay top dollar for their animals wont look after them absolutely ridiculous!

and as for ringing you up to abuse you, well thats just uncalled for... what business is it of this womans? "Lady" get a life and stop worrying about what other people are doing with THEIR animals...

There your animals to do what you choose with. I'm sure most people would agree on giving them away instead of selling them and lying about there feeding like most people do. Good on u mate :)

No speaks any ingles

Cheers Brenton

At least you didn't flood the market with free hybrids.... whoooooooops

I only ever give my snakes away always have always will. I prefer to swap so as that no will feels hard done by but having said that if you want a snake and i have a spare or excess to my needs then its yours. I do try and get all my snakes feeding before hand but some are just slower and if someone is knowledgable to get them feeding right then why not let it go early as long as they are aware then all good.

lols sounds like a nutjob, but in my eyes if you can deal with fussy feeders you should be chearin you got some free snakes.. otherwise dont take em if your gonna be dissappointed on not being able to use common sense ( what they do in the wild ) to get them eating rigght etc etc... thats my view on freebies :) i love em personally.

I paid for my bad feeders but at a reduced price , it didnt worry me as I dont breed my snakes and have plenty of time to get them feeding right . I cant believe she thought that she was the only person that could look after your snakes but have had similar calls from mentally unstable women when I have placed ads for animals for sale in the past and they missed out on them . I dont let them get me down though .
