accident

I was putting the olive in its tank and as i was putting the lid on he put his head under it and when it hit he pulled back really quick.The problem is now he has this dint in the middle of his head,dont know if i done this or not.Doe anyone have olives that are hatchies and have a small dint in their head?Thanks :shock:

however if you have maliciously put a divit in your poor lil olives head ... Shame on you

Ya prolly missed him, they're pretty quick! I always wrorry bout catchin the tail cause the hook it over the tub lip, gotta give a ticlke and she pulls it in after her then I can shut the lid!

Azztech i dont think this is the kind of thing to joke about.
Olive if i were you i would keep a close eye on the snake and just monitor its behaviour. If you start to notice that things are worsening then i would take it to the vet. Hopefully it should be alright.

If you actually caught it with the lid, keep an eye on it, if a scale/s are missing, paint/dab it with betadine, cant hurt, should heal given normal conditions and ya wont notice after a slough or two. dent is a worry but, not just a normal skull concavity? only slight not deep?

the part where it has a dint is where two slopes on its head join up and theres the dint.
