hay guys what would be the ideal size enclosure for adult centralian (bredli) pythons im looking at getting a breeding pair and would like to know some ideal dimensions so i can build x2 enclosures or even a double enclosure (like a bank of enclosures) running off the same thermostat?

basicaly i want to make some uber wizbang enclosures for these snakes full of climbing decore and hide boxs so that they feel as comfortable as possible.

thanks heaps
for any help

Bredli's are arboreal, so more height is preferable. 4x4ft would do for a adult, but 6ft high, 4ft long and 2ft deep would be ideal.

my bredlis big boy enclosure (almost finished) will be 1.6m high, 4 foot wide and 2 foot deep.

he seemed pretty impressed when i took him out for a look a while ago,..! :)

would it be alright to make one thats 4hx3wx2d i want 2 and still have to have room for frogs my coastal intergrade and beardies as well as incubators for the dragons and snakes.

should be ok, that about the size the 2 hatchis i got will go in eventually,...

You need to be careful about using one thermostat for both enclosures. If so, put both heat sources in series so that if one fails, both go out. Otherwise, if the heat in your thermostat enclosure goes out, it will cook the snake in the other one. You also need to carefully check temps, as one may be warmer than the other (upper one if you stack them).

My centralians are still babies, but they really love climbing. Consider a shelf halfway up the cage for them to bask on.
