After Feeding blood

What do you feed him live prey?or do you mean when he was swallowing it?looks nasty whatever it is.hopefully someone with a ton of knowledge will be able to tell.
 
Whoops, sorry. Didnt see the bit about it being on the inside, thats a little worrying :S

i was going to post a thread on this myself i noticed today feeding my diamonds that there necks where pinkish / red like blood i wonder if its just the wet rat from the water i defrost them in ?
 
So the blood is definitely on the inside? I have seen pictures of wild snakes that have split their skin swallowing a huge prey item. I don't really know though. Sorry can't really offer more...

I noticed this the other day in mine. Was in chat at the time and asked, was told it's a feeding response and quite a few do it

Most of my morelia get a pink tinge to there underside during feeding, not uncommon but the OP is different though!
 
o good! i was freaking out when i saw it i was like umm why are there under bellys pink haha was getting some pics of it wont worry now

I think that's a completely different thing though, as my coastals' belly goes pink when he's feeding.
Sutto - I'd get him checked out at a vet, that does look like a bleed of some sort, like a small blood vessel or something :? just my opinion anyways. Hope he's okay :) gorgeous little albino too :)

Sutto if you are near Karalee... try the Karalee Village Vet... oh hang on Gary's on holidays for another 2 weeks... Brisbane Bird and Exotics may be a good bet.

looking at the location of the bleed do you think some of our picmented snakes...particularly the darker ones might have this happen but because they are darker ou just dont see it ?
