I have moved my 4 month old MD into a URS small enclosure with rock wall etc. He has settled in nicely, feeding well still and is showing no signs of stress which is great. It's a swing door, 40x30x45.
Temps are all ok except at the moment I am using paper towel as my substrate and my little one likes to get under the paper towel (as he did when he was in a click clack even though he has 2 exo terra rock hides) and seems to like the same spot where I place the probes for thermostat and thermometer.
I am now having the dilemma of him moving the thermostat prob around as it doesn't have a suction cap or anything on it.

Just wondering how people keep their probes in place? I know all sticky tape is a definite no no.

If its a glass surface that the probe sits on then you'll need to rehouse your pet for a week or more (because of fumes) and silicone the probe (not the actual sensor tip) to the glass.
If its a timber surface then use nailed cable clips like this

Don't know what your tank is made out of but I usually drilled 2 holes and cable tied them down.

Thanks Jax, meant to mention it is made of glass. Thought about siliconing it in but would be a pain when I do a full clean.

Never even thought of looking on eBay for them! Normally ebay is my first option for most things, Thankyou! Will order some today! :)
