Baby Beardie question

Greebs, the baby beardies i had dramas with i used the rep cal juvenile pellets mashed into powder then mixed with apple juice. Within about 2-3 days of feeding with a syringe he was fine. Just open the mouth and syringe it into there, he will naturally try and swallow it down. With the powder and the juice he got plenty of good stuff and was eating like a champ in no time. Also, after a few days him and a few of his mates knew what was in the syringe and they would all run over to it to have a nice feed straight from it, i didnt even have to touch the babies to get them to eat it, they would pretty much fight over it!!

I always find it easier to open their mouth with a thin (you know like the ones you get with herp club memberships) cards!
I use them for baby snakes and lizards!!

I have had similar probs
I used that electrolyte and electrodize stuff and force fed. There IS a knack to it, but with a bit of luck and a gentle hand, I was able to open their mouths enough that I could pop the front half of a small roach that I had just killed in their mouths. Whilst they were using their tongue to try and push it out, i used my nail to push it further in and then they started chewing on it themselves. AND THEY SWALLOWED IT!!
I had to keep that up for a week or two, and they were only getting a max of 5 roaches a day thanx to full time work, but they ended up fending for themselves and ended up being fine!!
