hi all
i am new to snake keeping amd i have a few questions/queries.
For the water bowl, is normal tap water ok and
what do i need to put in my RWL log book? Poos? feeds?
cheers.:D

hey dude... i use tap water for my snake, so yea should be fine...

in my log book i got
- feeds
- shed date and estimate of when i noticed he started shedding
- SVL and weight chart
- when i cleaned the enclosure
- every now and then i write some notes on the behaviour of my snake if i see him doin something out of the ordinary

so that's it but you can always add alot more... depends on how much info you want bout your snake

enjoy

They give you or make you pay for a log book as well these days with your license?

I only had to pay for a record book when I got mine

yea i only paid for my record book too... don't know if u had to pay for a log book... i just made up my own folder with sheets to keep track

Ahhh..... Hahahahaha... Why make it sound all technical and sh... by saying "RWL log book then"? LOL! For a minute there, I thought they (EPA) changed something on me and I was special and missed out! LOL!

For my "RWL log book" - sorry, still find it funny - I just put in sheds, feeds i.e. date and size & type of feed, and sometimes clean dates and weights of snakes and food items given - to keep in check the whole percentage of body weight thing in check ;) Oh, and I just turned a couple notepads into log books for each individual snake, still put the whole lot in my diary though as well...Incase I lose or misplace one etc;)
