Bearded Dragon question...

My eastern beardy is about 6 years old now and i was wondering;

1) is he too old to breed now?

and 2) considering he's lived alone most of his life, would he even like being around a female or sharing his home with one??

There's really only one way to find out Nash? See what happens. 6 is quite old for a beardy but you never know, he could still have plenty of life left in him yet.

Shame you're not in Victoria I have two girls looking for a boy to visit this coming season. Their new man is still too little and wont be ready this season.

I don't think you will have any problem with him breeding at 6. With all that pent up frustration though you might find he is "on" the girl a little too much for them to share a home.

Yeah i was thinking about that. Will just have to see how he goes when i find someone selling a female

Mine were prolific breeders one of my females was giving me 3 clutches with 20+ eggs per clutch a season, then they just stopped breeding at the age of 5 (everything was done the same), they are about 9 now.
