Hey Every One

Beardie eggs are hatching for the eggs that arnt hatching yet should i pip? or candle to check if there ready?

how long do i leave them in the container for?

Cheers

Dont pip the eggs!!
Leave them, they dont always all hatch at once.
Mine this year hatched at around 2-3 for the first few days, then a bulk lot hatched and one egg stayed a week longer than all the others
Leave them until they are moving around

Dont pull any out of the eggs either, if they havent absorbed all the yolk, you can pull it out.
Also you run the risk cutting the veins in the egg if you pip it and its not ready.
If one or 2 die in the egg, they just werent strong enough to survive, its natures way.... you dont want to produce a weak line...

I just rinse them off in warm water and put them in on the warm side. They wont move around alot at first, so dont panic ;)

Pretty sure i just told you what you need to know, but do whatever you want i guess.
Ive hatched out beardie eggs for a few years now, all with 100% success, but hey, what would i know ;)

Yeah DO NOT pip the eggs, just let them come out of their own accord. They will probably hatch over a few days, maybe more, but don't worry. If some eggs don't hatch, they were not meant to. You can leave the hatchies in the incubator for as little as 10mins or as long as 24hours, it's up to you. Just make sure they are completely out of the egg and running around before you take them out. Good luck! :D

Don't touch them mate,be patient lol i know its hard.you didn't mention how many days they are now ?

You can leave them in the tub of vermiculite or whatever your using till tomorrow when u get home from school. They will be fine. By then they will be nice and active and ready to go.

the last thing is once there out of the egg do i leave hem in the incubator in the container for a period of time or take them out?

yeah, and when they hatch as been said you can take them out as soon as their running around.

5-6 wks, that's quite quick, what temps did u have (just as a by-the-by lol)

Do as the others have said.

Keep a good eye on them the first 3 days - if any seem really sluggish/half dead (they do sometimes), u can pop them in a shallow water bowl with cottonwool balls or paper towel so they don't drown, just to keep them hydrated, 2-3 times a day. They'll get out themselves, but don't leave them on their own as can drown. This is the MAX u should be touching them at this point.
You also know not to panic if they don't eat for the first few days? They're still digesting the egg sack so this is quite normal, but offers of food should be made anyway.
Let us know the numbers/success rate over the week - so exciting!!!!!

Spray them twice a day with a water spray bottle, they will lick the water off their noses etc.
If you notice them trying to drink after spraying, not just licking, put them in a shallow water dish so they can have a proper drink.
