ok so i was told by a fellow beardie owner that they can get to as big as their enclosure. i'm pretty sure that unless the dragon has german giant genes its not going to get to 4-5ft long (if you have enclosures that big)! that's just stupid! and she also said that their heads can get as big as the palm of your hand! i've seen many beardies and none have been that big or anything. i'm pretty sure that from nose to the tip of the tail they get to about 2ft long or just under. am i right in this assumption??? Help, i'd like to correct her in this statement and maybe suggest that she get her beardie tested for the german giant genes so that she doesn't suggest this to other people that want one and scare them off. Also how would i go about approaching her as she is extremely insistant on the topic.

yeh......no
no beardie is gonna get as big as their enclosure (if its a good size)
and unless its a german giant, its head DEFINATLY wont get as big as your hand, i dont even think a german giant will get that big

haha nope wrong....
lol no bearded dragon would get that big even if it is a german giant...
there is no way.
and as for the enclosure issue you would have to have a bloody small enclosure lol
in short, its not possible...

yeah i heard of that one...pretty awesome.

^^ Hahahaha, really?

Anyway, approach her however you like - just tell her the facts. If she's that stubborn, then let her do and say as she pleases..what does it matter?
