hi,
I have two central beardies, nearly 2 years old who may or may not be from the same clutch but almost certainly share a father. They are housed together in a roomy tank and I've never had problems with stress, they're happy together and i feel that were i to break them up they would be lonely. this morning i noticed them engaging in breeding behavior. he was rapidly head bobbing, chasing her and biting on the thick of the tail (no damage) and she was running away and arm-waving.
my question is if i should separate them to stop them breeding (don't want inbreds, not even sure if that's possible) or let them mate and then separate them, or if she doesn't stress if it's ok to keep them together? I have no idea what to do, i love my babies and and don't want to separate them but i also don't want to put them at risk.
any advice would be great
