Oh it will happen Jimmy, It sure will ! Remember those fine words of advice one day, when your kids are playing weird strange futuristic music with no apparent meaning and scarey lyrics like:

These are the ones I really wanna see, got my tics for the gold coast one about 3 weeks ago :) Yay for me. I would have to say that I will not miss the finger, grinners, spiderbait and JBT for anyone. Got tix to PF gig 3 days before to so should be an awesome week :)
 
Of that whole list of bands, Grinspoon is the only band that I MIGHT want to spend money to see, and then I would have to be bored before I decided to go.

ha ha ha 6th matt u like u music means u would of caught the one with marilyn manson wish i could of seen that one this is acctually my first big day out i thought about it a few times but now im old enough to go parnts free lol
 
For the headbangers....check out hatebreed as well - a must. Those guys cut sick just like slippy.

Yeah, I'll be attempting to rock out at BDO, got tix bloody ages ago, I hate having to wait months for gigs!
Stoked Slipknot are playing, I'm not a fan at all, but they should put on a good show, same with the Beasties.
I'm just really looking forward to the atmosphere of the day, and all the cool people that will be there...and the kook acts at the Lilly Pad. Lol. :lol:

AlreadyGone: Seeing the 'Finger lads a couple of days before too! Can't wait! :D How great's all the 'new' music they've released?! The live cd really makes you fee like you're at a show..well for me anyway. :roll:

Ahh well...seeing The Tea Party and Live at the end of this month, I guess that'll tie me over (anyone going to those shows by the way?).

Man I wish Tenacious D were playing the BDO....that would really rock my socks off...maybe I'll make it to their Enmore show.. :(
 
maybe everyone who is going (seems like a few) could meet up at BDD during the day or something.
 
got a friend going to Tea Party erin, her sister got her a ticket.. and forgot about me :( Should be sweet!! I can't believe Live's touring... thinking of them reminds me of year 9, I've just lost track of them over the last few years. Friend has their newer cd's, might have to have a listen, see what I'm missing out on... they'll never top throwing copper though ;)
 
Ahh Sam, the forgettable lad with the glasses. Hehe :wink: Unlucky, I hear The Teap Party have quite the awesome live show...shame it's in Newtown and I have to walk round myself in the middle of the night tho.

I so totally forgot about Live too, and no, they shan't ever top the greatness that is Throwing Copper. They better play all their hits that have over-saturated the airwaves since whenever. I dont care if they've lost all meaning to the band, I want to jump around to them! Lol.
So you actually goin' to their show?

lol of that whole list of bands, there were only three names I recognised and I couldn't name a single song of any of them, or probably even recognise any song as belonging to one of them if I heard it :)
 
I'll be there. Best Line up since Janes Addiction, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age and PJ Harvey played. I'm really wanted to go to the BDO when Nine Inch Nails played. It would have been awesome.

nine inch was absolutely awsome Neph. one of the best gigs ive seen (tool being the best)
but i disagree with the line up, i reckon the soulfly, korn and marylin manson and chem bros BDO was the best

geez Sdaji how long have they had you in hibernation? :shock: , ya better get off the old am and tune into some of that new FM stuff. :p or better yet, get the whole culture shock and go to the BDO. guaranteed you will rush out and buy a bit of slipknot hehe!

I've been in Hibernation since the end of the 80's. I listen to FM radio, but 104.3 is my station (oldies :) )
Some of my friends love BDO, they tried to get to me to go with them for a few years but eventually gave up. Slipknot was one of the three bands I recognised, I remember listening to one of their songs in early 2000, they were all wearing masks, I think someone said it was their gimmick and they always do it. I vaguely remember thinking it was okay, but then again, 2000 was by far the worst year of my life and I was not in a good state of mind at the time, so my judgement doesn't mean much :lol:
