Nah, i reckon SLipknot are cod-ordinary. Just a gimmick in my opinion, but then again i like alot of wierd music. One of the best lineups i've seen was for an old festival "Alternative nations" which my brother went to. I believe the line was: NIN, Faith No More, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill (off the back of the Black Sunday album), and I think Tool were there too (Off the back of Undertow or Aenima).
This was years ago, so my memory may have altered the lineup, but i remember it being awesome.
I was really hoping the Pixies would tour this year with their whole "reformation" thing.

And Sdaji, you gotta get out more and see some live music! :D

True neph, it was after the undertow album (tool) and the heavens opened up in melbs that day. Excellent line up for sure.
And Sdaji dont mind me, Ive been a flat out headbanger all my life - and everyone to their own is alright with me...I reckon ive copped more crap than anyone over the tunes i love but being metal i'm inpenetrable lol. \m/

I don't understand this post at all.... What's a big day out? In my day if was grabbing some fish and chips from the local fish shop, as well as a couple of stubbies from the bottle shop next door and sitting in the park talking crap. Then again there was Narara '83 and '84. Now I'm talking!

What a fun lovin' band! :D

At least they can toss members and get new ones in! Plus I'll be 90 years old and wondering why they are still able to play :lol:

yeah slippy a band that will and should be at the top of everyones hitlist.. it will take alot of new comers to see the potential of the masked madmen. i hope that people will really see the skill and showmanship that will probably see slippy become one of the most innovative bands that has hit our shores in a long time. get along and see em. forget the masks and listen to the sound. AWSOME!!! TRULEY!!
