A warm bath and patience, either pick it off with your fingers when it softens or use some small tweezers/forceps

Get someone to help you hold him after giving him a warm bath to soften the skin. Just be careful you don't pinch his toes if you use tweezers and do bits at a time. You don't wanna stress him out too much.

I don't know about anyone else, but using betadine can really help the little fella too, as it dries out the dead skin and helps infection to heal.

Hey how did you to with the little guy? Any luck with any of the suggestions?

Thanks for all the suggestions, ended up using Red-inks method followed by paw paw ointment, worked a treat. He will still lose that one toe but all the rest look good. soaking revealed the skin was actually all the way up to his wrist?? so glad I got to it quickly enough.

make sure you keep an eye on his eyelid shed as well as his ear plugs too. Red ink - i do the same. I don't advise tweezers or picking it off as they are so fragile and sometimes (i'm guilty of this in the early days.. but l have learnt soooo much) you pinch the toes without realiseing and actually can damage them. I also rub just a little olive oil in.

Yeh I advised against pinching the toes :) we were given some little guys who have absolutely shocking ski and who are underfed, sometimes it's good to use tweezers though if the skin is extra difficult to get off :)
Absolutely avoid toes and prematurely pulling skin off :(
