Hello. My first post on this forum...
My mate has an adult Blue Tongue at least 10+ years old, as he's had it for 8 years.
In Feb, 2008, I gave him one of my baby Blue Tongues. He kept it under lights all year, fed it up and grew it big. It looks like it could be three years old if it was naturally kept in the wild. It's huge.
My mate tells me today that he thinks his older Blue Tongue may be pregnant. It's sluggish and looking fat, very fat. However, the ONLY contact that it has had with another Blue Tongue has been the baby that I gave him. He put the baby in the same cage during Oct 2008.
I can't see how a baby born in early Feb 2008 can mature enough to be a father by Oct 2008??? Is it possible? I think that he's mistaken about his older Blue Tongue. I'll have to go around and check it out.
