hey one of my hatchlings is bobbing and waving jake slightly smaller then Corin, no by much i might add.

weird thing is Jake seems to be waving at me?? Corin will get close to Jake and Jake will lay down but i get close Jake will stand up and bob and wave sometimes at the same time, also he does gape does this mean anything?

only thing Corin does in my presence is run and some time hisses, he did bite my pinky finger today though. lol

lol sounds like u got a animal there full of personality.

as for the gaping. is it a bearded display or just a open mouth for a few seconds then close then re open??

yeh thats what happens to mine. most of the time when they are in there best colour, and really warm in there basking spot.

They gape like crocodiles, to cool down.

Unless of course they are puffed up, beard out and all, then they are being sexy.

opens for a few seconds and closes then repeats if his hot he can easily move.

so it seems i should be worried at the moment, just keep a close eye on them and see how it goes huh?

They are not so bright, they often just sit directly underneath the basking light and gape.
Try and turn his temps down a touch and see if it makes a difference.

sounds like jake is hitting on you

Dominance is all, he is being submisive to the larger one by waving and laying down.
