Also i belive when they stop flickering their tomgje and look at you its a sign theyre getting serious and could get ready for a strike, whem they flicker their tongue and slither around theyre relaxed.

Yeah I noticed that too ... when they're flicking their tongue heaps there as happy as Larry but as soon as they stop and inch up to my finger I know what comes next lol
You've got the right attitude at least. To be patient and persistent. He'll eventually come round ... they always do

I took me ages to get my fussy girl of mice to quail then to rats but i have to dangle it infrom of her to see it other wise she will not even atempt to eat it or show any interest
but its worth it now coz shes growing alot more now
