Hi there id love too breed my spotteds this year.
I have never bred a python before and have been researching but still confused and after some answers :).

Question 1) Im in north queensland when should i start cooling them?
Question 2) when should i stick them in together and ive been told 1 day together the next day seperated until she ovulates is this true or can they stay together?
Question 3) How do i tell shes ovulating?
Question 4) do they breed once a year or more?

Thanks Shona <3

Some people have luck breeding Antaresia at all different times of the year, but my usual routine is :

1. Start turning off all heat at night from late April, then start warming up again in late July / early August.
2. Introduce the male to the female starting in July - one week in, one week out.
3. It's easy to miss, but if you catch her it's easy to recognise, she'll look swollen around the midsection.
4. See above.
