Hey all. I'm having a go at breeding a pair of water pythons this year and was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the best way to go about it. Any care sheets would be great. Just wanting to know what time to pair them and that sort of stuff. Also the female is a little snappy and I am a little worried she might eat the male. I heard putting the male in the enclosure behind her might help as she will smell him before she see's him and wont mistake him for a meal.

Cheers

make sure they are from the same local...recently a paper by rawlings et al demonstrated a large percentile gap between eastern and western populations within Australia, (the same distance as what is between them and Olives) and also moving Australian pops back out of mackloti

Cheers,
Scott
