i want to make a cage for a coastal, would 1200l X 600x600 or 900L X 900H x 600D be fine?
its a nice size coastal now.i would be looking at a cage with good size but also a size that will save me space.
thanks all!

I dont have a Coastal but I'd say that the larger one would be better and preferably taller rather than long. My MD is kept in an enclosure which is 80cm long x 100cm tall x 50cm wide (I have space issues too), and was told that was fine for an adult MD, as a Coastal tends to get a bit bigger, I would say he/she would love the extra space and room to climb. I hope this helps. Good luck with your python. :D

Yeah you are better off having it 4' high, that also takes up the least floor space.

Coastals grow upwards of 3 metres, so make sure its around the 1200 long and they also like to climb so mark it atlease 3ft deep!

making one for my coastal now, its 5 ft high 4 ft long and 2 ft deep. But i dont have a space issue, go taller for sure

Hi Jordan,
If you have the room for a 1200 long enlcosure go that lenght,
but make it 900 high by 600 deep.
