This morning i was woken by the dogs, they chased a snake under my shed. The snake cant be caught or pulled out because i have a concrete based shed floor. How should i get it out? i am not hiring a snake catcher as they wont be able to catch it due to concrete slab, so what should i do? I need to find a way to coax it out from under the concrete slab.

leave it there. it will come out when its ready. would be a good idea if you can tie the dogs up or lock them in another part of your yard, just so the dogs are protected from the snake and the snake from the dogs

Forget about it.....it will make its own way out if left alone and it will probably then go on its way.

When you think its no longer hanging around, block up the holes under the slab so it can't take up residence!

i live in an urban area i think it has to be caught and moved as all my neighbours have kids and pets. i think its an adult brown snake from the glimpse i seen from a distance.

are you able to see it up under the slab?

are you about to get a picture of it?

No its right under there, the shed is a really large one able to hold 2 cars. the drought has made all the earth drop so there is heaps of gaps around edges and under slab for it to hide or live.

nothing really can be done..

leave it be.

the water wont work as it will just drain into the dry earth. I think i may just have to leave it and hope for best.
