Changing picture sizes?

Hi all, I have some great pictures in my gallery on my computer, but they are too big to use as avatars for this site. Is there a way of changing their size at all please? I don't have any idea of what to do. Thanks, Cher

If you open up the photos in MSpaint or any other image processing software you can alter the image size. In MSPaint select the menu items Image | Stretch/Skew.
BUt a really good Idea is to backup all your orginal photos first.

click on profile at the top of the page. wait until page opens. Near the bottom is the "Avatar control panel" and an edit box labeled "Upload Avatar from your machine:"
