Hi, I have had 2 Coastal Carpet pythons since they were around 6 months old. They have been kep in a medium size enclosure togeather, and last year the temp was left at 29 degrees.
Im not wanting them to hibernate this year, but i was wondering if it appropriate to drop the temps at all, just a little, to slightly mimic a small change in temperature.I run their light according to sun hours, and as i want to breed them next year, id like them to experience little temp change to suit the seasons.
Can anyone advise me, on how to adjust the temps suttlly, and how cold is the coldest they should get.
I live near Newcastle and the temps have been reaching 26 degrees still during the day- down to 15 degrees night.
Any advice on what would be best for them this year, in view of breeding them next. They were born April, last year.
Thanks
