childrens spotted feeding trouble

so i have a 6 mnth childrens spotted python and until two weeks ago she has been feeding perfectly once a week on fuzzy mice with no problems. Now its time for her to step up to fuzzy rats and she wont take them? Is this her periodically starving or do some snakes dislike rats and prefer mice? Anyone else had a problem switching feed? Any input is appreciated
