yeah im feeding them in the cage but i remove the one thats not being fed an put them in a tub.....

the male was in the hide box so i just removed the whole box an placed him into a tub.

i just noticed his head was sticking out an she was only biting the head of the rat then letting go.
 
you will need to treat both animals for mite, and take EVERYTHING out of the tank and de-mite it all. (perferably change everything).
You will also have to spray the whole enclosure while every thing is out.
Mite sounds like what the problem is. If you dont get rid of the mite while the weather is cool, they will explode when the weather starts to warm up again.

i got this Callington reptile enclosure insecticide aerosol spray...

anyone ever used it before.
 
The female in question has already passed on, tests were consistent with OMPV i think.

breeder sold me a snake that had opmv an hes still selling snakes to my knowledge

all of which are all in the same room.
